REEEEECAP

Just a quick post to recap the weekend which was fairly quiet. I've been battling a cold so I took a lot of "recovery time" for myself. Saturday, Peyton had another great game. We went to some dump that had been converted to a park in Pisgah...beats me. Either way, it was a soggy mess after the rain but the little boys did wonderful!

Yesterday, Peyton started CCD at church and loved it. He said that he can't wait to go back! While he was in class from 10:00 to 10:50, I got some much appreciated "quiet time" to myself. No matter how many times I've seen it, even after 20 years of being in awe of it..this view makes me forget all my troubles and feel at peace.

Our church has been such a huge part of my life since I was little that every time I pull in the parking lot, I feel like I'm "home". All the major milestones in my life have happened there and I feel so grateful to be able to help my children make their life's memories there.

In the evening, we cooked on the grill and got the boys (and ourselves of course) ready for the busy week ahead. Tonight...football practice! Have a wonderful week everyone!
