OOOOOOH! AAAAHHHH!

That sums up my first post. Lots of "oohs" and "aahs" and "how cutes!" If you haven't guessed already, we had a baby shower this weekend for my baby sister. And I'm on cuteness overload. I'm a sucker for baby outfits with stuff on the butt (animals, tails...anything) and Saturday's gifts did not disappoint. Every other outfit caused me to go "YAY! A RACOON ON THE BUTT! YAY! A FOX ON THE BUTT!" etc. etc. etc. It was a long day but April really seemed to enjoy herself. She got SO MANY nice things and I think this shower alone set her up for the baby, she pretty much has everything she needs. She was beyond blessed on Saturday by the turnout of people who wanted to support her in the next chapter of her life. I hope she appreciates just how many people truly care about her and how VERY BLESSED she has been in her life.

The whole shower was a "giraffe theme" which April's best friend Mary Beth came up with. She did such a good job with the decorations! My mother is a party genius so with her at the helm, the party turned out awesome! From food to decorations to cake to presents, everything was perfect.
