This is the North Pole Operator, is Peyton there please?

That is what I picked up the phone to hear last night around 8 pm. I had completely forgotten that I had signed up for this thing I saw in the Maryland Independant. I read where Santa was calling kids on December 15th from 6-8pm, I just had to fill out a form and fax it over and the first 100 or 200 people to sign up (can't remember how many!) would get a phone call. The form asked all sorts of questions from what grade he is, what school he goes to, what things I wanted to him to help with around the house, what things he needed to work on at school and what things he wanted for Christmas. So anyway, I filled the thing out about 3 weeks ago, sent it off and forgot all about it. Last night when the phone rang and I picked it up, you'd have thought Santa was calling me!!! I got so excited, started skipping to Peyton's room, jumping up and down going "SANTA'S ON THE PHONE FOR YOU! SANTA WANTS TO TALK TO YOU!" So we jump up and down back to my room where we sit on the bed.
That Santa was GREAT!! He asked all the right questions (Peyton, how's Kindergarten going? How's your baby brother Jackson? Make sure you work on those sight words for school!) and kept Bubba on the phone for at least 3 or 4 minutes. Peyton was ecstatic and I'm confident that we will have good behavior until Christmas...because Santa told him so!
