Peek a Boo!
Another weekend has flown by far too fast. On Saturday I went to a memorial mass in the early afternoon for an old family friend who was my CCD teacher in the 4th grade. My mother put the whole thing on so I went early to help her set up the refreshments and then slipped out during communion to get the rest of the ice and things set up. My mom has a track record of putting on beautiful events for the church but never really gets much help so I like to lend a hand whenever I can.
After the mass and clean up, I went home and scooped up the boys to go to my Aunt Donna and Uncle Mark's house. Mark and Donna are two of my favorite people in the world. They have been the most awesome Aunt an Uncle and we've always been very close to them. When you around these beautiful people, you know that you are loved. My beautiful cousin Holly graduated high school on June 8th and Mark and Donna put on a great party (like always!). We ate ourselves silly on crabs, hamburgers, sausages, hot dogs, etc. They always make so much amazing food! It was REALLY hot but Peyton kept himself nice and cool in the water with our cousin Erin. She's so great with him and he loves her to death! Pretty much everyone from the family showed up so we had a great time catching up. I made a date with my "potty pal" cousin Laura and her new husband Josh for dinner in the next few weeks. I love spending time with Laura...she's been my soul mate since birth, a built in best friend! Jackson enjoyed himself hanging out in his stroller and getting passed from family member to family member. More than anything, Jax enjoyed the food. The amount of bits and pieces people were feeding him was crazy! I think he tried about 20 new foods on Saturday. It was a great day and reminded me, yet again, how blessed the boys and I are to have such a loving, supportive family who cheers us on every step of the way. Laura actually told me while we were there that the running joke in the family when Chris and I were dating was that "If she doesn't marry him, we will!" Good thing I have no intention of divorcing ever or I might be in danger of having my whole family divorce me! Sunday was spent doing the usual Sunday things...laundry, cleaning, cuddling my babies and vegging out. It was sooo hot outside!!! Today's going to be another scorcher!

OH! Almost forgot! This weekend is my big date with Bubba to see Toy Story 3! CAN'T. WAIT. We prepared AGAIN this weekend by watching 1 and 2 again. I think we're more prepared than we could ever be!
I am very grateful for the wonderful family and friends I have in my life. It's their love and support that makes me want to be a better person, which I strive for every day. I have many faults, which I continue to work on but with the love I am surrounded by, it's impossible to fail on my quest to become a better person, friend, wife and Mommy. Thank you to all the wonderful people in my life, without you I wouldn't be the person that I am today.
