Weekend is already over?!?!?

Not too much to report from the weekend. A nice quiet time at home. Friday night we went after Chris got home from work to our good friend's Ted and Stephanie's house and cooked out on the grill. We just chatted, caught up and ate ourselves silly! We stayed out way later than we usually do and the boys slept in on Saturday morning! Chris spent all of Saturday at my parents house doing maintenance on our cars while the boys and I stayed home. One of my oldest and dearest friends Amanda came over and spent time with us on Saturday and we had a blast...as usual. The boys were in great moods. Saturday night, Peyton and I watched Toy Story to prepare for our big date in 2 weeks to see Toy Story 3! Sunday, we went to church and Amanda and her little sister Lexi came. The mass was being said for their mother who passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on March 29th of this year. It was great being able to share this mass with them. After church the girls and Chris and I went to the Greene Turtle for lunch while the boys went home with Grandma to spend the day with her and Grand Dad. We had a great lunch and I really enjoyed my "Mandi filled" weekend. We've been best friends since the second grade and she's one of the few people in my life that I know I can count on for advice, love and support no matter what I'm going through. In a word she's....amazing. Chris and I went home and waited for the boys to come home...is it just me or is the house TOO quiet when the kids aren't around? I feel like I'm missing my right and left arms! When they got home we did bath time and cuddle time...then Peyton and I watched Toy Story 2! We are sooo ready for our big date!!!
