Hope everyone had a very Happy Thanksgiving! I know I sure did. The four day weekend was a blessing and I feel refreshed! Today is the first Monday in a looong time where I don't want to throw a stapler at someone :) On Turkey Day, the Romine clan headed to my parents where we stuffed ourselves on a feast that Mom and Granny prepared. While we were there, I agreed to do something I swore I would never do...wake up early the next morning for Black Friday shopping! I wasn't so into the shopping as I was spending time with Mom, Granny and April. We had ourselves a blast and were finished by 10! I got all kinds of Christmas-y things for the house. So when I got home, I started decorating while Chris went to get our tree! The house was Christmas'd out by 5:00. We let the tree "settle" and gravity work its wonders and then on Saturday, April came over and helped us decorate it! She and I settled in once we were finished and watched our all time FAVORITE Christmas movie "White Christmas" with Bing Crosby and Rosemary Clooney. It's never truly Christmastime until we watch it!
The boys enjoyed their time off and I enjoyed having extra time devoted to the men in my life. Yet another of many reminders of how blessed I am!
