Happy Halloweenie!

Shew! Another weekend has come and gone and a busy weekend it was! Friday, I was off work recovering from this cold that has been tackling me. I laid around the too-quiet house for a good portion of the day and then treated myself to a mani/pedi. After that, I headed to Peyton's school for his "Fall Harvest Party" (political correctness at it's finest...let the kids have Halloween for goodness sakes!)
On Saturday, we got to watch Baby Luke in the morning and had a great time! At first having three little ones running around was intimidating but Luke fit right in and the boys really enjoyed his company! We played all morning long and then all 3 of the boys were worn out. Above is the three of them cheering Chris on while he did yard work (side note: our yard looks a million times better thanks to my hard working hubby!!! GREAT WORK BABY!). We also made chocolate chip cookies and all three of the boys helped!

Yesterday was Halloween! Peyton started bugging me to put on his costume from the time he opened his sleepy little eyes. Mom, Dad, April and Granny came over and I made dinner before trick-or-treating. I made meatball subs, french fries, pigs in a blanket and homemade hot wings with a (mostly) homemade pumpkin pie for dessert. Chris and Dad took the boys walking around with April and Arby in tow. After a few houses, Jax the Monkey was worn out so April and SuperArby brought him home to help us hand out candy. Jax was hysterical...he came to the door every time and then yelled "BYYYYEEE!" every time a kid left. I've never lived in a neighborhood before so this was my very first time handing out candy...and my Mom's too! We had such a great time seeing all the costumes and getting in to the swing of things for the first time!

Happy Fall everyone! Don't forget to fall back this weekend!!!
